Indications Reglan is used to treat heartburn, erosive esophagitis and gastroparesis. How It Works Reglan is classified as a prokinetic drug. Due to its ability to stimulate the sphincter, stomach and small intestine muscles, it decreases instances of GERD, heartburn and gastroparesis by lessening the opportunity for stomach acid to flow into the esophagus. Dosage Tablets (EU 10 mg, 10 mg, 15 mg) GERD To treat GERD, Reglan is generally prescribed at 10-15mg four times every day. Take this dosage 30 minutes before meal time.
