How It Works Ursodoil occurs naturally in the human bile system, though it usually only occupies a small percentage of the bile system's acid pool. Urso boosts that level and makes Ursodoil the predominant acid in the acid pool. This is important because it then replaces and flushes away more toxic elements of the bile system that might exacerbate liver problems assoaciated with gallstones such as a damaged bile duct.
