Dosage Tablets (1 mg, 2 mg, 4 mg) The recommended initial dose of Detrol is 2 mg, to be taken on a twice daily basis. Precautions Detrol is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Detrol. This medication must be used with caution in patients who have decreased gastrointestinal motility. Patients with narrow-angle glaucoma should exercise caution. A decreased dosage is recommended for patients who have reduced hepatic function or renal function. This medicine may cause harm to an unborn baby. Before taking Detrol, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.
