How It Works Gentamicin belongs to the family of medicines known as antibiotics. Gentamicin ophthalmic preparations are used to treat infections of the eye. Dosage Eye drops (30% 5ml) It is recommended and instills one or two drops into the affected eye every 4 hours. In severe infections, dosage may be increased to as much as two drops once every hour. Precautions Garamycin is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients. This formula should not be used for injection.
