How It Works The type of drug this is antibiotic. It works by inhibiting the generation of proteins in bacteria cells, limiting growth and reproduction and allowing the immune system to fight off the existing infection. Dosage Tablets (50 mg, 150 mg) The recommended initial dose of Rulide is will vary depending on the infection being treated, however a course of treatment with this medication typically involves a dosage of 150 mg every 12 hours. Precautions Rulide is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Rulide, or if you have any conditions like jaundice that result in impaired liver function.
