How It Works Sporanox inhibits the fungal cytochrome P450 oxidase-mediated synthesis of ergosterol. Dosage Tablets (100 mg) Treatment of Blastomycosis and Histoplasmosis: The recommended dose is 200 mg once daily (2 capsules). Treatment of Onychomycosis toenails: The recommended dose is 200mg (two capsules) once daily for 12 consecutive weeks.
