Indications Lamisil is used to treat fungal infections of the toenails or fingernails. How It Works The mechanism of action is unknown. Dosage Tablets (1% 10g, 250 mg) The recommended initial dose of Lamisil is one 250 mg tablet once a day for a period of six weeks. There have been some documented cases of liver failure attributed to the usage of Lamisil. These cases happened most often in patients who had an existing condition. Speak to your doctor if you have a history of liver disease. Lamisil usage is not recommended for patients who have experienced renal impairment. This medicine may cause harm to an unborn baby.
