Indications Qualaquin is used to treat uncomplicated P. falciparum malaria. How It Works The method of action is unknown. Dosage Tablets (200 mg, 300 mg) Patients are generally prescribed 648 mg per day of this medication. It should be taken every eight hours and for a period of at least seven days. Precautions Qualaquin is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Qualaquin. This medicine may cause harm to an unborn baby. Before taking Qualaquin, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. Qualaquin my pass into breast milk and may cause harm to a nursing baby.
