Indications
Mobic is indicated to relieve symptoms of arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.

How It Works
Mobic is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that can work both as an analgesic and as a fever reduction medication. It works by inhibiting an enzyme in the body that is responsible for a process in the body’s production of prostaglandins, which are producers of inflammation.

Dosage
Tablets (7.5 mg, 15mg)
The recommended initial dose of Mobic is 7.5mg. Some patients experiencing advanced symptoms may benefit from an increase in the dosage to 15mg daily. When the patient is going through hermodialysis, the recommended dose is no greater than 7.5mg.

Precautions
Mobic is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to its ingredients, this includes people who are prone to anaphylactoid reactions and/or dermatological reactions caused by the ingredients of Meloxicam. Before using this Mobic, tell your doctor or pharmacist about all prescription and nonprescription medications, including herbal products, minerals and vitamins you may be taking. Other medications may affect how Mobic works or may cause other unforeseen complications.

Adverse/Side Effects
It is common that Mobic causes the following minor side effects: chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, black stool, nausea, stomach pain, low fever, loss of appetite, fever, sore throat, headache with a sever, blistering peeling and red skin rash. If these side effects persist or become overly bothersome contact your doctor or health-care professional.

Less serious side effects may include: upset stomach, mild heartburn or stomach pain, diarrhea, bloating, gas. Some users may also experience skin itching or rashes, dry mouth, increased sweating or runny nose, blurred vision or ringing in the ears.

If any of these side effects become bothersome seek medical attention immediately.

A very serious allergic reaction to this drug is rare. Get emergency medical help if you have any of these signs of an allergic reaction: rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing.
