How It Works Mobic is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that can work both as an analgesic and as a fever reduction medication. It works by inhibiting an enzyme in the body that is responsible for a process in the body’s production of prostaglandins, which are producers of inflammation. Dosage Tablets (7.5 mg, 15mg) The recommended initial dose of Mobic is 7.5mg. Some patients experiencing advanced symptoms may benefit from an increase in the dosage to 15mg daily. When the patient is going through hermodialysis, the recommended dose is no greater than 7.5mg.
