Bystolic, nebivololChemical NameNebivolol Ingredients Active Ingredients: Nebivolol Non-Active Ingredients: Colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, D&C Red #27 Lake, FD&C Blue #2 Lake, FD&C Yellow #6 Lake, hypromellose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, pregelatinized starch, polysorbate 80, and sodium lauryl sulfate. Indications Bystolic is used to treat hypertension. How It Works Bystolic is a beta blocker that works by reducing the effects of specific hormones in the body. Dosage Tablets (EU 2.5 mg, 2.5 mg, EU 5 mg, 5 mg) The recommended initial dose of Bystolic is 5 mg, to be taken orally one time per day. Some patients may receive larger dosages for certain accelerated conditions, under the advisement of a physician.
