Micardis Plus, telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazideChemical NameTelmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide Ingredients Active Ingredients: telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide Non-Active Ingredients: iron oxide yellow, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, maize starch, meglumine, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone, sodium hydroxide, sodium starch glycolate, and sorbitol. Indications Micardis Plus is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure). How It Works Micardis Plus is a combination medication containing telmisartan, which is an angiotensin receptor blocker, and hydrochlorothiazide, which is a diuretic. Dosage Tablets (40 mg/12.5 mg, 80 mg/12.5 mg) Take one tablet per day. Precautions Micardis Plus is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Micardis Plus. This medicine may cause harm to an unborn baby. Before taking Micardis Plus, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.
