How It Works The exact mechanism of action of Aldara Cream is unknown. Dosage Cream (5% 0,25gm, 5%/12.5mg) Apply the cream twice a week for 16 weeks on the defined treatment area on the face or the scalp, but not at the same time. Superficial Basal Cell Carcinoma Applied five times per week for a full six weeks to a biopsy-confirmed superficial basal cell carcinoma.
