Pred Forte, prednisolone acetateChemical NamePrednisolone Acetate Ingredients Active Ingredients: prednisolone acetate Non-Active Ingredients: Boric acid; edetate disodium; hypromellose; polysorbate 80; purified water; sodium bisulfite; sodium chloride; and sodium citrate. Indications Pred Forte is used to treat redness, irritation and swelling that has been caused by an inflammation of the eye. How It Works Pred Forte is a topical anti-inflammatory medication that is intended for ophthalmologic usages. Dosage Ointment (1% 10 ml) One or two drops should be used between four and times daily, as directed by a physician. Shake well before usage. Precautions Pred Forte is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Pred Forte or to any other corticosteroids. Speak to a doctor if you have the following conditions: Viral cornea infections, conjunctiva, epithelial herpes, varicella, vaccinia, and fungal diseases of ocular structures.
