Mestinon, pyridostigmine bromideChemical NamePyridostigmine bromide Ingredients Active Ingredients: pyridostigmine bromide Non-Active Ingredients: lactose, stearic acid, and silicon dioxide. Indications Mestinon is used to treat myasthenia gravis. How It Works Mestinon is a reversible cholinesterase inhibitor. The medication fuses with post-synaptic membranes, which causes depolarization. Dosage Tablets (60 mg) The exact dosage should be prescribed by a physician, and will be dependent upon the severity of the condition, and the individual’s needs. Precautions Mestinon is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Mestinon.
