Dermatop, prednicarbateChemical NamePrednicarbate Ingredients Active Ingredients: prednicarbate Non-Active Ingredients: White petrolatum, octyldodecanol, glyceryl oleate, propylene glycol, citric acid, and propyl gallate. Indications Dermatop is used to treat pruritis, eczema, dermatitis, itching due to allergies, and rash. How It Works Dermatop is a topical corticosteroid medication. Not dissimilar to hydrocortisone in terms of the degree of potency and, in some cases, efficacy. Dosage Ointment (5gm 0.10%) The recommended initial dose of Dermatop is to lightly apply the ointment to any affected areas. Repeat as needed. Precautions Dermatop is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Dermatop. This medicine may cause harm to an unborn baby.
