Indications Lustra Cream is used to treat lightened areas of dark skin. How It Works Hydroquinone topical is used to lighten areas of darkened skin. Dosage Cream (4% 30gm) Apply to the affected area, rubbing in twice daily, in the morning and before bedtime, or as directed by a physician. Precautions Lustra Cream is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Lustra Cream, as well as in patients with kidney or liver deficiency. Do not use hydroquinone topical on skin that is sunburned, wind-burned, dry, chapped, or irritated, or on an open wound. It could make these conditions worse. Wait until these conditions have healed before applying hydroquinone topical. Avoid getting Lustra cream in mouth or in the eyes. Make sure you wash off cream thoroughly afterward. This medicine may cause harm to an unborn baby. Before taking Lustra Cream, tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment.
