Conditions include hemophilia. It is often used to treat patients during tooth extractions to reduce bleeding, as well as during heavy blood flow in women during menstruation. How It Works This medication is an antifibrinolytic. Its mechanism of action is the inhibition of activation of activity that allows blood flow.
