Indications Livial is used to treat estrogen deficiency, manifested in hot flashes, decreased libido, and depression in women who have gone through menopause. It can also be used to treat endometriosis. How It Works Livial is a steroid hormone drug. It acts as a hormone replacement, adding estrogen, progesterone, and androgen testosterone. Dosage Tablets (2.5 mg) The recommended initial dose of Livial is 2.5 mg per day, for a period that should last at least three months for treatment of post-menopausal symptoms. Precautions Livial is contraindicated in people who have hypersensitivity to ingredients in Livial, and women who have a history of breast cancer, benign breast lumps, and fibroids in the womb.
