How It Works Prometrium is a steroid hormone. It is a type of hormone that is naturally occurring in the human body. Dosage Tablets (100 mg, 200 mg, 400mg) Depending on the condition being treated, the dosage will be variable. Prometrium should be taken before bedtime, regardless of the dosage.
